Hi! I’m Rosanna, after graduating with a music degree in 2016, I decided to kickstart my career as a freelance musician. Alongside performing as an accomplished solo pianist/accompanist across the West Midlands, I work as a piano and guitar teacher providing private tuition across schools for all ages, inspiring students in musical education.

Working with local theatre groups and schools, I have played in pit bands for many musicals and shows. I have also worked as a musical director for a contemporary choir based in Birmingham leading rehearsals for a wide range of ages.

Although I have branched out to different areas in my career, my heart will always remain with performing to audiences. My versatile and diverse setlist engages a wide range of audience members, varying from pop and rock ballads, film music, Disney covers, a selection of contemporary composers such as Ludovico Einaudi and celebrating the greats such as Debussy and Ravel. My experience of playing with other musicians also allows me to work with string quartets and other ensembles to create a varied programme.

I am passionate about adapting contemporary works to the piano so that audiences can enjoy modern melodies but with the beauty of a classic feel. I enjoy connecting with the audience through expressive playing and arranging new music for solo piano. After the birth of my daughter I was inspired to arrange the piece “Remember Me” from the Disney film Coco. This beautiful lullaby is full of colourful harmonies and shaped melodic lines and I hope my arrangement can resonate with audiences to come.
